Water Crystal Depicting 'Joy' from Masaru Emoto's Work

In this Voices From the North interview John chats with Shelley Rademacher, an accomplished homeopath who outlines how homeopathy works—even looking at the genetic tendencies and sensitivities passed on to each of us by our grandparents. Shelley touches on allergies, the influences of radium (from microwave ovens, television and computers), genetically modified foods, mercury and electrical exposure (electric blankets etc.) She provides practical, down-to-earth solutions for everyone.

Other areas discussed are the effects of dairy products on the body, chlorine from swimming pools and drinking water, copper poisoning (including exposure when showering in homes with copper hot water pipes) Shelley focuses much of her talk on how these toxins affect children and how positively they can be treated with homeopathy.

Shelley specializes in the use of environmental antigens to treat chronic symptoms. She warns of the dangers of dioxins in tampons, feminine pads and disposable diapers and notes that dioxin-free diapers and organic feminine products are available. One of John’s favorite songs is played, a song called So Much Magnificence by Miten and the work with water crystals by Masaru Emoto is discussed.

A warning. This is one of the first interviews I posted online and it begins with two minutes of music, not, the ten seconds I use today. The actual interview begins after that. Enjoy. There is information here that is important for human health.

In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was a doctor who visited farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many had died. The doctor came upon one farmer’s family and to his surprise, everyone was totally healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home. The doctor couldn’t believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope.  She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion.  It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.

I received this story via a forwarded email. The writer heard it from her hairdresser in NZ. She said that several years ago many of her employees were coming down with the flu and so were many of her customers. The next year she placed several bowls with onions around in her shop. To her surprise, none of her staff got sick. It must work. (And no, she is not in the onion business.)  The moral of the story is this: buy some onions and place them in bowls around your home. If you work at a desk, place one or two in your office or under your desk or even on top somewhere. Try it and see what happens. We did it last year and we never got the flu..

Here are a few words from a regular contributor of heath information:

‘I contacted pneumonia and needless to say I was very ill…I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion, put one end on a fork and then place the forked end into an empty jar…placing the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs…  sure enough it happened just like that…the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.’

Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague centuries ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.

So there you have it. With all the hype about the danger of the flu and the interests some parties have in making flu vaccines mandatory the solution could cheap and available to us all hiding behind the pantry door: the lowly onion. Good health to you all.

Good health is natural. As we bring our lives into harmony with nature and natural living we quite spontaneously attain optimum health. I wish you health and abundant happiness.

1. Consider increasing the percentage of raw foods in your diet. Raw foods, with their enzymes intact, are known to vitalize the organism. You’ll gain energy and enthusiasm on such a diet. A point to consider: If you have to cook something to make it palatable, is it really suitable for consumption.

2. Simultaneously reduce all artificial stimulants: white sugar, caffeine, table salt, alcohol and drugs.

3. Substitute catarrh-forming foods with the more cleansing juicy and raw fruits and vegetables.

4. Periodically rest your body by fasting. To enable one to fast with greater ease, for a few weeks prior to the fast live mostly on raw fruits. Dr. Norman Walker warns against long, extended fasts. A one day fast once a week is an excellent way to give your body the rest it needs. You could consider making this a technology-free day, spending as much time as possible in nature.

5. Start your day with a few glasses of rainwater (or distilled water) to cleanse toxins set loose by the body at night.

6. The only true way to overcome disorders is through cleansing rather than through the suppression of symptoms.

7. Breathe deeply. This oxygenates the blood, helps purify the cells and organs and produces a peaceful state of mind.

Dr. Vinay Goyal is an MBBS,DRM,DNB (Intensivist and Thyroid specialist) having over 20 years  of clinical experience. He has worked in institutions like Hinduja Hospital , Bombay Hospital , Saifee Hospital , Tata Memorial etc.. Presently, he is heading our Nuclear Medicine Department and Thyroid clinic at Riddhivinayak Cardiac and Critical Centre, Malad (W).

The following message given by him, I feel makes a lot of sense and is important for all to know.

The only portals of entry are the nostrils and mouth/throat. In a global epidemic of this nature, it’s almost impossible to avoid coming into contact with H1N1 in spite of all precautions. Contact with H1N1 is not so much of a problem as proliferation is.

While you are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection, in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and development of secondary infections, some very simple steps, not fully highlighted in most official communications, can be practiced (instead of focusing on how to stock N95 or Tamiflu):

 1.  Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications).

 2. “Hands-off-the-face” approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part of face (unless you want to eat, bathe or slap).

 3. *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don’t trust salt). *H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat/ nasal cavity to proliferate and show characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. In a way, gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one. Don’t underestimate this simple, inexpensive and powerful preventative method.

4. Similar to 3 above, clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water. Not everybody may be good at Jala Neti or Sutra Neti (very good Yoga asanas to clean nasal cavities), but *blowing the nose hard once a day and swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is very effective in bringing down viral population.*

5. Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C (Amla and other citrus fruits). If you have to supplement with Vitamin C tablets, make sure that it also has Zinc to boost absorption.

6. *Drink plenty of warm liquids as you can. Drinking warm liquids has the same effect as gargling, but in the reverse direction. They wash off proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach where they cannot survive, proliferate or do any harm.

When you read the following information you realize why drug companies are not exactly encouraging the use of inexpensive and readily available natural herbal products for attaining and sustaining optimum health. Think twice (or thrice) before purchasing your next medical drugs. Remember what Dr. Robert Mendelsohn (How To Raise a Healthy Child…In Spite of Your Doctor) so eloquently stated, “The side effects of pharmaceuticals are identical to the disease conditions they supposedly treat.” As I’ve stated before, our daughters (16 and nearly 19) have never had injections or received any medical treatment and they are in excellent health. Something to think about!

Did you ever wonder how much it costs a drug company for the active ingredient in prescription medications? Some people think it must cost a lot, since many drugs sell for more than $2.00 per tablet. We did a search of offshore chemical synthesizers that supply the active ingredients found in drugs approved by the FDA. As we have revealed in past issues of “Life Extension,” a significant percentage of drugs sold in the United State contain active ingredients made in other countries.

In our independent investigation of how much profit drug companies really make, we obtained the actual price of active ingredients used in some of the most popular drugs sold in America.

The chart below speaks for itself.

Celebrex 100 mg Consumer price (100 tablets): $130.27 Cost of general active ingredients: $0.60 Percent markup: 21,712%

Since the cost of prescription drugs is so outrageous, I thought everyone I knew should know about this. Please read the following and pass it on. It pays to shop around. This helps to solve the mystery as to why they can afford to put a Walgreen’s on every corner.

On Monday night, Steve Wilson, an investigative reporter for Channel 7 News in Detroit, did a story on generic drug price gouging by pharmacies. He found in his investigation, that some of these generic drugs were marked up as much as 3,000% or more. Yes, that’s not a typo … three thousand percent! So often, we blame the drug companies for the high cost of drugs, and usually rightfully so. But in this case, the fault clearly lies with the pharmacies themselves For example, if you had to buy a prescription drug, and bought the name brand, you might pay $100 for 100 pills. The pharmacist might tell you that if you get the generic equiva-lent, they would only cost $80, making you think you are “saving” $20. What the pharmacist is not telling you is that those 100 generic pills may have only cost him $10!

At the end of the report, one of the anchors asked Mr. Wilson whether or not there were any pharmacies that did not adhere to this practice, and he said that Costco, Sam’s Club and other discount volume stores consistently charged little over their cost for the generic drugs I went to the discount store’s website, where you can look up any drug, and get its online price. It says that the in-store prices are consistent with the online prices. I was appalled. Just to give you one example from my own experience, I had to use the drug, Comparing, which helps prevent nausea in chemo patients. I used the generic equivalent, which cost $54.99 for 60 pills at CVS. I checked the price at Costco, and I could have bought 100 pills for $19.89. For 145 of my pain pills, I paid $72.57. I could have got 150 at another discount store for $28.08. I would like to mention, that although these are a “membership” type store, you do NOT have to be a member to buy prescriptions there, as it is a federally regulated substance. You just tell them at the door that you wish to use the pharmacy, and they will let you in.

I am asking each of you to please help me by copying this letter, and passing it into your own email, and send it to everyone you know with an email address.

liver-cleansing-foods

A few days ago I completed the eight day liver / gallbladder flush described below. I’ve done a number of similar liver cleanses over the years. It is always satisfying to see the green pea-like ‘stones’ released by the body at the end of a cleanse and to experience the increased energy that follows. In the past I’ve often taken a herbal intestinal, kidney and parasite cleanse prior to a liver flush. The procedure below is great because for six of the eight days life continues normally apart from some minor adjustments as described and you still get the desired result. The following is a somewhat edited copy of the cleanse given by Marianne Callaghan (Clinical Nutritionist and raw food chef specializing in body detox) on her website at:

http://online-nutritionist.typepad.com/online-nutritionist/2009/07/how-to-do-a-liver-gallbladder-flush-safely-at-home.html

CLEANING THE LIVER BILE DUCTS IS POSSIBLY THE MOST POWERFUL PROCEDURE YOU CAN DO TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH.

imagesIt is the job of the liver to make 2-3 pints of bile a day. The liver is full of tubes that deliver the bile to one large tube, the bile duct. The gallbladder is attached to this as a storage space. Eating fat or protein trigger the gallbladder to squeeze itself empty in order to help digestion. The stored bile starts to travel through the bile duct down to the intestines.

For many people, the biliary tubing is choked with gallstones. There are many varieties of gallstones; most have cholesterol crystals in them. They can be black, red, green or tan colored. There are hundreds, if not thousands of these stones of various sizes that most people have inside.

As the stones grow, the back-pressure on the liver causes it to make less bile that can cause indigestion, nausea, headaches, joint pains and high cholesterol levels, to name a few.

The FLUSH takes a total of 8 days to complete, but only the last 2 days are such that you need to be home (close to the toilet). The first 6 days you live your life normally and eat normally, with the addition of some lemon, grapefruit and/or apple juice.

DAY 1-6.

Start the day by drinking the juice of one lemon together with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and hot/warm water. You could also liquidize the lemon (pith and all) as it contains pectin that will start to soften the stones and will make their passage easier. Also, drink 1 liter of fresh-pressed apple juice per day, for further pectin. If you have Candida or you are allergic to apples, drink one pint of liquidized lemon per day instead of the apples, or take malic acid from health food shops. Eat and drink normally.

DAY 7.

Choose a weekend or do this on your day off, and make sure that you have time to relax the next day too. Take no vitamins or pills that you can do without as they could prevent success.

Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal, fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk). This allows the bile to build up. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

After 2 pm, do not eat or drink at all. Not even water, as it would release some of the bile and your flush will be less successful and you may also feel ill. You can moisten your mouth or suck on an ice-cube.

6 pm

Mix 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salts in 3/4 cup of water or juice. You may like to bite into a slice of lemon afterwards (like with Tequila) in order to overcome the taste. Get the olive oil and the fresh pink grapefruits out to store at room temperature.

8 pm

Drink another cup of Epsom salts. You haven’t eaten since 2 pm, but you won’t feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done, as timing is critical for success.

9.45 pm

Pour 1/2 a cup of olive oil in a pint jar with a lid. Squeeze the same amount of pink grapefruit (I used our New Zealand Grapefruit) juice into it. (If you have some Black Walnut Tincture at home add a few drops as well, otherwise do not worry about it.) Close the jar tightly and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this). Prepare two more cups of Epsom salts for the morning and take all drink to the side of the bed.

Now visit the bathroom one more time, but please be ready around 10 pm, otherwise you will get fewer stones out.

10 pm

Drink straight down the olive oil and grapefruit mixture. A little honey is permitted afterwards for the taste if you need it. Drink it all standing up and get it down within 5 minutes.

Lie down immediately! You might fail to get stones out if you don’t. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Do not clean up the kitchen.  As soon as the drink is down, walk to your bed and lie down either flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow, or can be on your right side with your knee drawn up. You may also like the comfort of a hot water bottle on your tummy. Visualize what is happening in the liver (stones like marbles are rolling out through the pipes) and keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don’t.

Next morning

Upon awakening take your third cup of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don’t take this potion before 6 am.

2 hours later.

Take your fourth (the last!) cup of Epsom salts, and if you feel like it, go back to bed again.

After 2 more hours you may eat. Start with fruit juice. Half an hour later eat fruit and one more hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered.

liver-transplant-needed-or-liver-cleanse-3-1024x768So, how well did you do? Have a look with an (old) colander and a torch to observe the gallstones in the toilet with each bowel movement. Expect diarrhea in the morning. Look for the green stones since this is proof they are genuine gallstones and not food residues. Only bile from the liver is pea green. The bowel movement sinks but the gallstones float because of the cholesterol inside. You will need to total 2000 stones before the liver is clean enough to rid you of allergies or bursitis or upper back pains permanently. The first cleanse may clear these symptoms for a few days, but as the stones from the rear travel forward, they give you the same problems again. You may repeat this flush at four-week intervals. Please never cleanse when you are ill.

Sometimes the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. They appear as chaff floating on top of the toilet bowl water. It may be tan colored, harboring millions of tiny white crystals. Cleansing this chaff is just as important as purging stones. It is like clearing sand out of your  garden hose.

Most people feel rejuvenated on all levels. However a few may feel unwell for one or two days afterwards, which means there may be parasites blocking the ducts. In these cases completing a parasite and kidney cleanse program is vital.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have removed your gallstones without surgery!

This procedure contradicts many modern medical viewpoints. Gallstones are thought to be formed in the gallbladder, not the liver. They are thought to be few, not thousands. It is easy to understand why this is thought: by the time you have acute pain attacks some stones are in the gallbladder and are big enough and calcified enough to see on X-ray, and have caused inflammation there. When the gallbladder is removed the acute attacks are gone, but bursitis and other pains and digestive problems remain.

The truth is self-evident. People who have had their gallbladder surgically removed still get plenty of green, bile coated stones when doing a cleanse, and anyone who cares to dissect their stones can see that the concentric circles and crystals of cholesterol match textbook pictures of gallstones exactly.

A few additional notes from my last cleanse completed on August 28th, 2014:

  1. I’ve always found the taste of Epsom salt in water repulsive. This time I put the Epsom salt in fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice with a little water only. The flavour was acceptable, almost tasty.
  2. On the eighth morning after the last Epsom salt drink I carried on with fresh pressed juices (lemon, grapefruit and apple with celery).
  3. Just before eating for the first time in mid-afternoon of the eighth day I had one tablespoon of bentonite clay to help clean out the bowel.
  4. I find it helpful to continue to use dandelion root in my smoothies to support the liver.
  5. Keep in mind that according to Eastern traditions such as Chinese medicine the liver is the organ associated with anger. A liver cleanse will help you to release anger and allow the positive attributes of the liver—kindness and self-expansion, to name but two—to manifest.
  6. I always feel a profound sense of expansion and inspiration after completing a successful liver detox. The challenge then is to find the time to do something with all the ideas which arise. It is a matter of prioritizing and maintaining balance. You don’t have to do it all at once.

For those unable to use grapefruit due to its incompatibility with prescribed medication, lemon can be substituted. You are advised to consult your physician before attempting a detox such as this.

If in doubt about doing the detox, don’t do it. It may not be the right time for you to do so.
